This alternative treatment to dermal fillers successfully helps stimulate the additional production of collagen and elastin. This means that it leaves your skin looking more youthful, tighter and rejuvenated over time. It not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but it also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The stimulation results in significant tightening and lifting of the improved skin tissue. Profhilo® works by stimulating collagen and elastin, increasing hydration in the deeper layers of the skin, giving your skin more of a natural glow and a distinct revitalisation. Profhilo® enhances tissue health and restoration. In that sense, beyond simply being a skin booster, Profhilo® also helps tighten and lift the skin tissue aiding overall appearance, particularly for lower regions of the face. After your procedure, your skin will continue to hydrate, tighten and gain elasticity over the following days and weeks. This means, though your skin is looking visibly good straight after treatment, it will continue to improve. There are 5 injection points for your area of concern, they stimulate 4 different types of collagen and elastin due to the slow release of hyaluronic acid. As Profhilo® is injected just under the skin using very fine needles in pre-determined points, it is relatively painless; you may feel a short sting or scratch, but this is short-lived. Clients will be given numbing cream before a Profhilo® treatment to make them as comfortable as possible. A course of two treatments is recommended 4 weeks apart for optimum results. Then a treatment every 6 months.
