This Russian technique involves injecting hyaluronic acid into your upper lip (the part between your nose and top lip) via an injection needle. This creates a volume or “swelling effect” which looks natural when it settles down after about 10 minutes. The swelling also accentuates your cupid’s bow (that little dip on either side of your upper lip) making it appear more defined than usual. Its is often referred to as “Russian lip filler” because it’s a popular choice among Russian women.
