NASAL FOLDS

The nasolabial fold is the deep crease running from either side of the nose down towards the corners of the mouth. This crease becomes more noticeable as part of the natural ageing process. Fat is lost from the cheeks, reducing skin volume and making this fold appear deeper.

This issue can be corrected through injections of dermal filler into the surrounding area, restoring the lost volume and softening the appearance of these creases. Resulting in a smoother, refreshed-looking appearance. Dermal fillers can be used to combat the effects of ageing as well as contouring and enhancing facial features.

Cheek Filler is also a recommended treatment in some cases to help to 'lift' sagging cheeks which in turn softens the nasal fold area as the crease can be caused by lost tissue from the cheek area.

Topical anaesthetic is applied for 20 minutes prior to treatment to help with any minor discomfort.

There is no downtime and clients can return to work straight after treatment. As with all dermal filler treatments, gradually building up volume in the areas of concern is key and may require more than one treatment to achieve the desired results.
